Shahzad founded Strateasy Consulting after more than three decades leading businesses and advising institutions across Pakistan, the UAE, GCC and wider MENA region. He is a Certified Balanced Scorecard Practitioner (Palladium Group), and built his practice on a simple conviction: strategy only counts once it changes what people do on a Monday morning.
Before founding Strateasy, Shahzad served as Group CEO of KMI Group (UAE) and of Rahimafrooz Group, a conglomerate of eight businesses generating over USD 300 million in revenue with more than 3,500 employees. That operating background — running large, multi-business organizations, not just advising them — shapes how Strateasy designs strategy and HR systems today: for real implementation, not just presentation.
Alongside Strateasy, Shahzad holds active institutional roles as an Institutional Development Expert with the Asian Development Bank, a D&I and HR Expert with GIZ GmbH Pakistan, and an Advisor and Board Member at Soch Consulting (Estonia).
A strategy document that never changes behaviour has failed, regardless of how well it was written.
KPIs are only useful if the people measured by them believe the numbers are fair and accurate.
HR is not a support function to strategy — in most organizations, it is the delivery mechanism.
A short conversation is usually enough to tell.
